Therefore, your website should be a direct representation of your brand so when users visit your pages, there is no question of whether or not they have found what they are looking for. With that in mind, always make sure you are consistent with all of your branding (colors, font selection, custom elements).

Ultimately, it all boils down to what I feel is the #1 reason businesses and brands need a website to compliment their online presence: searchability. Having a website for your business gives potential customers an easy way to find you. Everyone wants that coveted spot on the first page of the Google Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Without a website with a strong presence, that goal is nearly impossible to reach. Many companies rely on social media to market their brand. While that may bring some success, there are few opportunities for you to improve the rankings for those profiles. Through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you can directly modify your website's content to be more favorable for Google which would improve your rankings and place your website closer to the first result in the SERP for your particular keywords.
